Competency Training Partners (CTP) was formed in 2002 with a mission to train personnel on the safe and efficient use of steam systems. Prior to 2002 the demonstration facility and instructors were part of Steam Economies Company, Inc. (SECO), a manufacturer's representative agency specializing in heat transfer equipment since 1917. CTP and SECO are both located at 9325 Sutton Place in Hamilton, Ohio. Since 2002, CTP has expanded its mission to include Competency Based Training (CBT) which goes beyond steam systems to any process within a facility. CBT is a method that allows a company to train and evaluate one's personnel on the proper identification, operation, maintenance, and trouble-shooting of equipment in a specific process within a facility. CTP is approved to provide ASOPE (American Society of Power Engineers) license testing for anyone successfully completing our High Pressure Boiler Operator or Stationary Steam Engineer license programs. CTP's High Pressure and Stationary Steam engineer licensing programs are certified by the State of Ohio . We provide training in our demonstration facility as well as on-site training. Since 1989, over 10,000 people have been trained by CTP and SECO. For more information call 513-682-1973 |
